Founded in 1958, Huaxia University is a comprehensive research university with deep historical heritage. Located in the picturesque city center, the campus covers 3,000 acres with 1.2 million square meters of buildings. The university has 18 schools covering science, engineering, liberal arts, law, economics, management, medicine, and arts. It has functional departments such as Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, Research Office, and International Exchange Office, as well as 3 national key laboratories and 15 provincial and ministerial research platforms.
The university ranks among the top 200 globally and top 20 domestically in QS World University Rankings. It has received honors such as "National Civilized Campus" and "National Advanced Grassroots Party Organization". The university has won 8 national teaching achievement awards and more than 20 national science and technology awards.
The university has modern teaching buildings, laboratories, libraries, gymnasiums and other facilities. The library has a collection of 5 million books and rich electronic resources. It has standard athletic fields, swimming pools, tennis courts and other sports facilities, providing high-quality learning and living environment for teachers and students.
